Program and Design:  Norden Lofts 65-unit, six-story, renovation of a long-vacant industrial loft building into a multi-family building with amenity spaces including fitness center, bocce ball court, library, lounge, and community room.  The design sought to simultaneously restore and modernize the original character of the former commercial building.  Key details include exposing the original brick finishes, adding new steel casement replica windows, riveted plate steel accents, and new entrance and circulation components featuring standing seam zinc panels and street level tie-back awnings.

Program and Design:  A new 36-unit, five story multi-family building over parking within walking distance of the Harrison Metro North station, featuring composite wood panels, stucco and louvered solar shades on the exterior.  The residential volume is floated above a level of parking and features a modern grid of punched windows, interrupted by a wood-clad vertical mass extending the full height of the building.  The fifth floor is set back and the rooftop features a 5,000 square foot outdoor amenity terrace.

Program and Design:  This 50-unit, five story multi-family building over parking in downtown Port Chester incorporates a terra cotta rain screen system, glass curtain wall and stucco finishing system.   The building incorporates a street-facing multi-purpose lobby and event space.  Color changing LED wall wash fixtures illuminate a two story bas-relief wall and internally illuminated stretched fabric columns.  On-site amenities include terraced deck and spa pool with barbecue stations, an outdoor bar and lounge seating.

Program and Design:  Sitting on a unique corner site, this multi-family building includes 56 apartment units over ground floor amenities and a full floor of parking below. This project exploited the cost, quality and schedule advantages of off-site modular fabrication, without hindering the visual appeal and creativity required to achieve the developer’s objectives. Program and Design:  30-unit, four-story, multi-family building above parking on a 24,500 square foot site.  Located on a prominent site along the edge of Interstate Route 287, the building features a graphic assemblage of material including composite wood panels, polished concrete masonry units, stucco, and plasma cut aluminum panels to animate the façade.   The flat roof is populated with Photovoltaic Cells to provide 30 kilowatts of electricity to power the building’s common areas.

Program and Design:  This new 23-unit, three-story, multi-family, townhouse style building, above parking, located in a low-scale residential area, was designed as a series of duplex apartment units above a floor of simplex units.  The entrance to each apartment is from an elevated walkway that overlooks an entrance courtyard.  Vernacular scaled exterior materials, including stone, wood siding, and composite aluminum panels, were combined to create a townhouse appearance.

Program and Design:  Located on a prominent downtown corner, this new 24-unit, four-story, multi-family building above retail level and parking building features contextual masonry urban walls along the streets and a curved retail element. Plasma cut aluminum panels accent the upper floors of the facade.

Program and Design:  This 48-unit, contextual urban five story mixed use building over parking incorporates a selective blend of face brick that harmonizes with the main thoroughfare it abuts, alongside classical details such as a copper roofed tower, stained glass windows, precast cornices and arched windows.

Program and Design:  10 Townhouse duplex units above common underground parking.  Each entrance to the residences is located on a glass-covered alley between two clusters of buildings.  The building façade features zinc shingles, stucco, and plasma-cut balcony railings.

Program and Design: Designed to minimize environmental impact on the site, the house form responds to existing features that include a pond, a stream, rock outcrops, and mature trees. Interlocking geometrical shapes shift and stretch to accommodate the steep topography. The results are dynamic sculptural forms and practical spaces with thoughtful views and access to sunlight. Natural materials connect the architecture with its surroundings and native plant species tie the site into the adjacent woodlands.
